Our first Modern Homesteading Event drew over 120 attendees and confirmed what we’ve long believed: more people are ready to live with intention, closer to nature, and on land they can call their own. From backyard chickens and beekeeping to solar power and organic gardening, families came to learn what it really means to live with the land, without going off-grid.

As developers of The Grand Ranches, we’re proud to support this movement with communities that make sustainable living not only possible but practical. We’ll be hosting another event this fall, and soon releasing our Living with the Land Guide to help even more families explore what this lifestyle could look like for them if they own land in Texas.
